SOLVE IT Success on April 21, 2018!
The weather was beautiful, the volunteers were pumped and
the Tillamook State Forest's 2018 SOLVE Earth Day Clean-up was a resounding success. We may be a little biased, but I think it’s
obvious, Tillamook State Forest Volunteers ROCK!
At the end of the day 4 ODF staff members working with a
group of 60 volunteers from 7 different clubs
and organizations removed over 6,000 pounds of garbage (about 30 cubic yards)
and 201 tires from the Tillamook State Forest in just under 4 hours!

- Oregon Department of Transportation who provided the staging area for the dumpsters and volunteer registration
- SWATCO Sanitary, Inc of Banks who donated the dumpsters and the hauling services. This business has been supporting our SOLVE project since 1996.
